Microsoft Flight Simulator Xbox

Microsoft is announcing that the popular PC simulation game Flight Simulator is now available on the Xbox series X and S consoles. This is the first time in its about forty years that the flight simulation game is making its way to consoles.

Microsoft says it is trying to give aspiring pilots the chance to take flight(lessons) using a console. The game comes with the same level of depth as the PC version the company notes. The PC version is receiving a massive bump in performance improvements. It also comes with added features such as improved flight training, world exploration, flight assistance and more. And these are also going to be experienced on the console as well. The improved features give a pilot real-time and realist experiences through the power of satellite data from Bing Maps and cloud-based AI using Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft Flight Simulator lets you travel to over thirty-seven thousand airports and two million cities across the world. The enhanced improvements like point of interest labels let you explore and find landmarks easily. For new pilots, there are twenty-two fundamental training flights to teach you basic handling.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available with Xbox Game Pass. So you can play it on a Windows 10 PC, Steam or your Xbox series X or S console. Microsoft says the game will get third party partners who will introduce peripherals to make the console experience immersive.

Infinix INBOOK X1 laptop unboxing, review, price

Infinix INBOOK X1 laptop Nigeria

Infinix introduced the INBook X1 series laptop when it announced it was now in the laptop business. Releasing three variants of the X1 series; the i7 powered INBook Pro, i5 powered INBook X1 and the i3 powered INBook X1. The company mentioned the devices will be coming to markets in Nigeria, Egypt and Indonesia in June this year, starting at $530. Here are details on what is now available in Nigeria.

Missed the announcement? Watch everything announced and said about the new devices. Including special features that work if you also own an Infinix mobile device. Check below for the variants and price in Nigeria. Click here to read the device specifications in full.

These are the Infinix INBOOK X1 retail prices in Nigeria:
– i3 10th Gen 8GB RAM 256GB SSD – N267,700
– i5 10th Gen 8GB RAM 256GB SSD – N321,200
– i5 10th Gen 8GB RAM 512GB SSD – N335,700
– i7 10th Gen 16GB RAM 512GB SSD – N406,700

Interestingly the least model which is the i3 starts at N267,700, about $640 instead of the announced $530. I hear it might have something to do with the exchange rate. The core i3 256GB/8GB Starfall Gray colour variant is available on Jumia at the moment.

I haven’t received an X1 device yet so I think it will be ideal to let someone who does tell you about it. Join Olatunde Shobajo of Valor Reviews and watch the Infinix INBOOK X1 laptop device unboxing and review below.

Windows 11 leak shows the new Start menu

Windows 11 leak shows the new Start menu

Windows 11 leak start menu design

Microsoft will announce Windows 11 at a Microsoft event on June 24th. Ahead of the official launch event, Windows 11 leaked images and an operating system (OS) with Build number 21996.1 have shown up online. The Windows 11 leak seems legit and shows what looks like a new start menu, user interface, Windows widgets, etc.

Windows 11 leak start menu design about settings

The leaked version shows an all-new out-of-box redesigned setup experience. There are still familiar things from Windows 10 and everything in the look isn’t a refresh. But most things have a visually refreshed outlook. It comes with a new startup sound, sound effects and really nice looking default wallpapers. I’ll see if it tempts me away from the Bing desktop wallpapers.

The Start Menu, taskbar icons and widgets are now in the centre by default. People who have spent time with the OS say you can move it back to the left side. The Start menu looks just like the cancelled Windows 10X and doesn’t have live tiles. The Start menu icon uses a new modern look and is similar to the Microsoft logo. More like a blue version of the Microsoft logo. When you open new applications they add up on the right side of the taskbar and it grows and spreads but aligns to the centre. You can change the taskbar alignment from the taskbar settings by right-clicking on the taskbar. You can opt to not show widgets buttons and can choose to hide the taskbar in desktop mode.

First look at the Windows 11 leak, OS

One thing to note is that some of the old Windows features like control panel, task manager, computer management still looks the same.

Microsoft hasn’t said this yet but I believe Windows 11 just like 10 will comes as a free upgrade to Windows 10 users. And upgrading to 11 will also be over the air from the Windows update settings.
