Samsung revealed a host of devices and partnerships at their Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event. These include the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+, Watch Active2, Tab S6, Book S and a new partnership with Microsoft.
The partnership with Microsoft will see both companies work to deliver unified experiences across mobile devices for consumers. An example is the seamless cross device experience on the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ and the new Galaxy Book S.
Samsung worked with Microsoft and Qualcomm to deliver what it describes “ushers in a new era of mobile computing. A device that harnesses the mobility and connectivity of a smartphone and the powerful productivity of a PC.”

It comes with built-in LTE connectivity which will offer an always-connected pc. Samsung says it comes with “a powerhouse battery life” which should last a whole day. It estimates 23 hours of video playback. This can translate into about 12 – 14 hours of other heavy productive work.
Spotting an ultra-slim, lightweight design in a premium anodized aluminum frame the PC is protected against hazards says Samsung. It uses Qualcomm’s latest mobile processor to combines performance and battery life. An upgrade of the earlier released Galaxy Book2 PC.
Samsung says it will be out by October 2019. hopefully it makes it out onto the Middle East Africa market.

Samsung announces Always On, Always Connected Galaxy Book2 PC
Samsung Electronics America Inc. has out doored it’s latest portable PC. The Galaxy Book2 designed to deliver productivity and mobility to the user. Samsung says in a world that doesn’t slow down it should give you the power to stay ahead. Touted to give a whooping 20 hours batter life. Its inspired by the Microsoft Surface Pro devices as this is what Microsoft has been pushing its partners to do. I like the idea the keyboard and pen are bundled and sold with the device.
So lets take a look at what it offers. It comes installed with Windows 10S and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 850. Has 12″ display, LTE support, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, two USB type C ports, S Pen and Keyboard.
Check out the full Galaxy Book2 specifications below.
Some impressive takes on the device; the keyboard is backlit and included pressure responsive S Pen doesn’t need to be charged. I will like to get a hand on this and take it for a test. Downside, it doesn’t talk about expandable storage nor do i know if there will be other higher specifications to select from.
You can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Book2 starting November 2, 2018 online at ATT.com, Microsoft.com and Samsung.com stores for $999.99
