HP announces the Pavilion Aero 13 Laptop PC, here is everything you need to know about the new device. The Pavilion Aero is a 13.3-inch ultra-light laptop powered by an AMD Zen 3 core architecture mobile processor. It takes the premium look and feel of HP’s ENVY and Spectre devices and brings the design to the Pavilion.
HP says it weighs under 1 kg and is the lightest consumer laptop. It comes in a full magnesium-aluminium chassis with a 16:10 micro-edge display. The PC has a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio with 10 percent more viewing space than the 16:9 ratio. It also sports a four-sided narrow bezel on the 13.3-inch diagonal display.
The Aero 13 is an AMD exclusive and will have AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 series processors with AMD Radeon graphics. With 8 or 16 GB of onboard memory and 512 GB SSD storage. HP says the device will launch with Windows 10 but will be ready to upgrade to Windows 11 when it becomes available later this year. It has a superspeed USB C port that delivers a 10Gbps signalling rate. That can be used to transfer data, charge the device or as a DisplayPort.
HP Pavilion Aero 13 is expected to be available in July, retail prices start at $749. There will be four-color models to choose from, Pale Rose Gold, Warm Gold, Ceramic White, and Natural Silver.
