3 impressive Ways AI is Improving Customer Loyalty

As technology continues to rapidly develop, the idea of artificial intelligence (AI) taking over human roles and being present in everyday life is becoming a reality. Today, AI programs such as Midjourney and DALL-E are capable of creating hyper-realistic images and complex works of art in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile, Open AI’s ChatGPT started making headlines in March 2023 for its impressive ability to craft well-written essays, solve mathematical problems, code, and engage in conversations with users. As tech magnate Bill Gates said, humanity has entered the AI age.

Numerous industries—from not-for-profit organizations to e-commerce and gaming—already are looking for ways to integrate AI into their operations. While some fear that AI will replace human labor and creativity, others are tapping into the technology’s potential to improve how businesses interact with their customers.

In what follows, we break down three remarkable ways in which artificial intelligence is facilitating customer loyalty.

Data collection

One of the main strengths of AI is its ability to collect and organize high volumes of user-generated data. This type of data is incredibly valuable for any business, as it reveals a lot about the customer, including website interactions, purchase history, and social media engagement. In isolation, that data may not mean much. However, once analyzed by AI, it can be streamlined and converted into digestible insights and visual charts.

Taking that data into consideration, marketers can make informed decisions that drive marketing strategies, targeted and market-entry campaigns, product launches, and more.

Personalized recommendations and offers

By using collected data and specialized algorithms, AI can assist in delivering customized experiences and interest-based content to individual customers, which makes them feel as if the brand understands their preferences and tastes.

Perhaps one of the most notorious examples is content recommendations on streaming platforms. On its Help Center site, Netflix clearly states that they “estimate the likelihood that you will watch a particular title in our catalog based on a number of factors”. Such factors include the user’s viewing history and rating of previous titles coupled with the information provided by other members with similar tastes and information about the titles (genre, actors, release year, etc).

Another industry that utilizes this strategy is gaming, particularly casino platforms. Overall, reputable casino sites focus on building customer loyalty by offering a number of benefits to players, including deposit bonuses, free spins, and VIP programs. But, with AI, they can go a step further and tailor their messaging and content to each individual player.

24/7 support availability and quick responses

Customer service is a detrimental factor in customer loyalty. In fact, 83% of customers agree that good customer support will turn them from one-time shoppers into lifers.

With the help of chatbot technology, businesses can provide their customers with automated customer service that is available around the clock. Medium to large-scale businesses and brands likely have customers all over the world. This means that human customer support agents won’t be always able to address urgent requests and issues from customers residing in different time zones. In this way, AI-powered chatbots are a convenient solution.

Using AI assistants is also a great way to ensure that customers get quick responses to simple queries whenever customer support agents are too busy solving more complex cases.

To conclude

Artificial intelligence has the potential to change the way businesses interact with their customers, giving them a more personalized and meaningful experience. This helps to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty, ultimately increasing the business’ overall success.

Just as the industrial revolution changed how people worked, the AI revolution is altering how people communicate with businesses.

Will AI really take jobs from tech experts?

Will AI really take jobs from tech experts?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the world of work in unprecedented ways. From automating tasks to enhancing creativity, AI is reshaping how we perform our jobs and what skills we need to succeed. But will AI really take jobs from tech experts, or will it create new opportunities for them?

The answer is not simple or straightforward. AI will have different impacts on different sectors, occupations, and regions. Some jobs may be eliminated or reduced by AI, while others may be augmented or created by it. Some workers may benefit from increased productivity and efficiency, while others may face displacement and skill gaps.

According to a report by the American University School of International Service, AI will lead to increased levels of productivity, specialization in job roles, and increased importance of “human skills” like creativity, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Although AI will increase economic growth, these gains will not be evenly distributed.

The report also identifies four types of workers who will be affected by AI:

Workers whose tasks are mostly automated by AI. These workers may face job loss or significant changes in their job content and requirements. They will need to reskill or upskill to adapt to new demands or find alternative employment.

Workers whose tasks are mostly augmented by AI. These workers may benefit from improved performance and efficiency, as well as new opportunities for innovation and collaboration. They will need to learn how to use AI tools effectively and leverage their human skills.

Workers who use AI to create new products or services. These workers may enjoy higher incomes and market power, as well as greater autonomy and flexibility. They will need to have advanced technical skills and entrepreneurial mindsets.

Workers who provide services for AI. These workers may experience increased demand and job security, as well as more variety and complexity in their work. They will need to have specialized knowledge and skills related to AI development, maintenance, regulation, or education.

As we can see, AI will have both positive and negative effects on the tech job market. The key challenge is how to ensure that workers are prepared for these changes and can benefit from them. This requires a coordinated effort from governments, employers, educators, and workers themselves.

Some possible solutions include:

  • Investing in education and training programs that equip workers with relevant skills for the future of work.
  • Providing career guidance and counseling services that help workers navigate transitions and opportunities.
  • Supporting innovation ecosystems that foster entrepreneurship and new business models.
  • Promoting social protection policies that protect workers’ rights and welfare.
  • Encouraging social dialogue among stakeholders that fosters trust and cooperation

AI is not a threat or a blessing for tech experts; it is a reality that we need to embrace with caution and optimism. By anticipating its impacts on our jobs and preparing ourselves accordingly, we can make sure that we are not left behind by this technological revolution.

ChatGPT – five useful ways you can use the AI chatbot

ChatGPT – five useful ways you can use the AI chatbot

ChatGPT is a large language model trained by OpenAI. Its primary function is to assist with generating text(answers) based on the input(question) it receives. It does this by using natural language processing techniques to analyze the input and generate responses that are relevant and coherent.

I am not a physical entity, but rather a computer program designed to help with tasks involving the generation of text,” it replies when asked, who are you?

A large language model is a type of artificial intelligence system that has been trained on a massive amount of text data. The model learns the complexities and nuances of natural language and generates text that is both relevant and reasonable. Large language models can be used for a variety of tasks, such as machine translation, summarization, and question-answering.

In the case of ChatGPT, It is specifically designed to assist with generating text in response to user input. Allowing it to provide relevant and helpful information on a wide range of topics in a conversational way.

The OpenAI chatbot does not have access to the internet or any other external sources of information. It can so far only provide information based on the text data used to train it. In as much as it can generate text on a wide range of topics, it is not able to provide up-to-date information on all topics.

chatGPT chating with user and answering code question

Here are 5 ways you can use ChatGPT

Answering questions

It can provide information on a wide range of topics, allowing people to get answers to their questions quickly and easily.

Summarizing text

It can help people understand longer pieces of text by summarizing the main points and key ideas.

Generating reports

It can help people generate reports and other written documents. It can currently generate financial, technical, market research, scientific, and environmental reports.

Translating text

The chatbot can assist with translating text from one language to another, making it easier for people to communicate with others who speak different languages. However, we are unable to tell how many languages it can translate to.

Writing assistance

It can help people with their writing by suggesting words and phrases and providing assistance with grammar and punctuation. We have also seen others share it helping them write letters, essays, and more.

Overall, the conversational AI chatbot is still in its early days of development and will need some more training. It’s big on the conversational way compared to previous chat AI’s like Siri, Cortana, and Alexa.

Editor’s note: This post and all the details about the AI chatbot were a conversation with the bot. We have edited the conversation out as a post for easy reading.
