GIGABYTE is announcing three new gaming laptops the AORUS 17, AORUS 15, and AERO 14 OLED. The AORUS 17 and AORUS 15 gaming laptops come powered with Intel 13thgen i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs, 240Hz 1440p displays, and a WINDFORCE Infinity cooling system. The AERO 14 OLED is a creator laptop with an Intel Core i7 13700H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 2.8K OLED display with XRite and Pantone certification, and NVIDIA Studio platform.

With search, you can ask the new Bing normal and complex questions and expect detailed replies. What happens is that it will look at search results across the web and give you a summarized answer, saving you time to look up various web links. You can also ask follow-up questions in the chat experience. Microsoft says Bing can help you write a poem, or stories or even share ideas for your project.

Microsoft says Edge can understand the webpage you are on and adapt accordingly. The feature allows you to ask for a summary of a lengthy report and use the chat function to ask for a comparison. LG Electronics is announcing the pricing and availability of the first of its 2023 gram laptop models, the 17-inch LG gram pro models. The company says the 2023 17-inch LG gram pro laptops are unbelievably thin and light. Offering premium looks with the latest device specifications that will deliver a powerful and immersive experience. The new models will also be available in 16, 15, and 14-inch laptop models (16Z90R, 15Z90R, and 14Z90R).
The 17-inch LG gram pro model 17Z90R-A.AAB7U1 is equipped with Intel 13th gen Core i7 process, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, NVIDIA RTX3050 GPU, 1TB storage, and Windows 11. The higher Model 17Z90R-A.ADB9U1 is equipped with 32GB LPDDR5 RAM, NVIDIA RTX3050 GPU, 2TB storage, and Windows 11.
The 2023 LG gram17Z90R-A.AAB7U1 will retail at $1999 whilst the higher model 17Z90R-A.ADB9U1 at $2,299. Both devices are available on lg.com and later at select LG-authorized retailers. Lg says the other 2023 gram laptop models will launch later this year.

At the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked February 2023 event, the company unveiled the latest Galaxy Book3 Series computers, featuring the Galaxy Book3 Ultra, Book3 Pro 360, and Book3 Pro. The new PCs come with the latest hardware including 13th-generation Intel processors and Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Samsung notes the new devices target consumers who want seamless multi-device connectivity and premium hardware.
The Galaxy Book3 Ultra – Samsung’s new premium and high-end PC – features ultra-high-performance computing. The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 features a 2-in-1 convertible form factor with S Pen functionality. Whilst the Galaxy Book3 Pro is the thinnest clamshell device in its class.
The Book3 Ultra features a sleek premium design with a full glass display and thin bezels. It comes with the latest 13th-generation Intel Core H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050/4070 Laptop GPU.
The new Book3 series devices will be available on February 17th. The Galaxy Book3 Pro will start at $1449.99 and is available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 will start at $1899.99 and is available in a 16-inch size with Graphite and Beige color options. The Galaxy Book3 Ultra will start at $2,399.99, available in a 16-inch size.
Drop is a new file and notes sharing feature in the Microsoft Edge browser that lets users send files and notes across their mobile and PC devices. The Drop sharing feature is located in the sidebar widget. It works by synchronizing a shared file across your devices using Edge and OneDrive. A kind of AirDrop feature that lets you share and receive photos, documents, videos, links, and notes or text to another device instead of a person.
The company has been testing and developing this new file-sharing feature since May this year. It has since moved from the Edge Canary Channel for early testers to more stable Edge versions. It appears it is still not generally available as i didn’t see it in the normal Edge browser. However, once it gets to the Dev Edge Channel it is likely to soon show up in the Beta channel and to all.
The Drop file-sharing feature tries to make sending links, text, images, and video from one device to another simple. This feature looks great as it only involves you and not another person or account. So you won’t have to create a fake contact or spam someone’s chat message with things you want to pick up from another device.
It is also another way Microsoft could be testing file sharing across devices as it doesn’t have a definite solution. Currently, it encourages Windows PC users to use the Phone Link app.

How Drop file sharing feature works
First, you need to sign in to your Edge browser on both sending and receiving devices with your Microsoft account.
Next, the easiest way to use the feature is to open the sidebar widget and click it. On a Windows PC you can press the shortcut, control + shift +forward slash (Ctrl+Shift+/) to get to the side widget. Or Alt+F to open settings, then scroll down and select Show sidebar. Microsoft by default have it added, but if it isn’t you can click on the add (+) sign to add it.
Then click on the Edge Drop feature. The logo looks like a paper airplane. It will open up what looks like a text chat interface on the side. With a “write a note to yourself”, a plus (+) to select a file or photo to send, and a send feature the visible options.
how it looks on a mobile Edge browser
When you send a file, you will get a “New Drop messages in Edge” notification on the other devices you are signed in to asking you to click to open the file. The sent file then goes to a newly created “MicrosoftEdgeDropFiles” folder on your PC. I did not find any newly created folders on my mobile phone. When you click to open the Edge Drop file on mobile it takes you to the widget in the browser and you see the file and proceed from there.
From my current understanding, the file is also stored in a new folder in your Microsoft OneDrive account. You will notice a “Microsoft Edge Drop Files” folder with all the shared files except links and text as shown in the image below.t also uses your cloud storage and Microsoft doesn’t give any additional storage for this. So if you use it often and with large files, you will have to have a larger OneDrive storage or keep deleting them afterward.
It will be interesting to see the final feature when Microsoft releases or announces Drop to the public.
