In May, UMIDIGI announced its new F3 series smartphones which come in 3 variants; the F3, F3S and F3 SE. Offering customers more device choices to choose from. Samsung announces its fourth generation Galaxy Z series foldable smartphones with the introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. The new devices according to Samsung feature customisable form factors, tailored experiences, and upgraded performance. Which will intend open up new possibilities for users and deliver a comprehensive smartphone experience. Other devices introduced at the Samsung Unpacked event include the Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Watch 5 series.
The new Galaxy Fold 4 comes with Android 12L created by Google for large-screen experiences, including foldable. The camera is upgraded with a 50MP wide lens and 30x Space Zoom lens that improves low-light images. It is powered by a 4nm Octa-Core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform Processor and is available in 256, 512 and 1TB storage options. Samsung says the Z Fold 4 is now slimmer and lighter and the S-Pen works with both screens. It adds that content is more immersive and distinctive on the 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED main screen display.
Thanks to Samsung’s partnerships with Google and Microsoft it brings new multitasking features to the device. Google apps, including Chrome and Gmail, now support drag-and-drop. This allows users to quickly copy and paste links, photos and more from one app to another. Microsoft’s full Office suite and Outlook also take advantage of the foldable display.

It also features an expanded 3,700mAh battery that charges up to 50 percent in 30 minutes with Super-Fast Charging.

Samsung says users can fully customise the Z Flip4 inside and out with Galaxy Themes on both Cover and Main Screen to complement their style with custom fonts, icons and designs. They can also create their own Cover Screen with new clock designs and backgrounds in various formats such as images, GIFs and even video.
The Galaxy Z Flip4’s compact clamshell design allows you to shoot hands-free video or capture full group selfies at various angles. This is by partially folding the phone to activate FlexCam, a new feature in partnership with Meta. FlexCam is optimised to work with popular social platforms, including Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook.

TECNO mobile is announcing its latest premium smartphones with four new devices in the Camon 19 series. They are TECNO Camon 19, Camon 19 Neo, Camon 19 Pro and Camon 19 Pro 5G. The company will however make other variants available for other markets. To mark the launch it held a global event in New York City as it seeks to break into new markets and produce high-end devices.
With the Camon 19 Series, TECNO is focusing on improvements to the body design, performance and camera. Introducing new innovations starting with an ultraslim 0.98mm thin bezel that gives you more screen space. It also introduces a dual-ring triple-camera layout design and RGBW camera sensor + Glass technology. Which promises brilliant portrait photography in challenging low-light and nighttime conditions. TECNO says it will make Android 13 beta available on its latest CAMON 19 Pro 5G.
The company is also introducing TECNO Wallet, a payment wallet and finance app built for its devices and integrated into the CAMON 19 series of phones. TECNO Wallet will allow users to make easy and secure payments for a range of services including money transfers, airtime, data, bills, and shopping.
Pricing for the TECNO Camon 19 will vary by region and they will become available in markets by late June. The 8GB+256GB Camon 19 Pro will retail at $280. TECNO is announcing the latest Spark model, the Spark 9 Pro which comes with a 32MP HD front camera, MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 6.6″ 1080P Full HD large screen and a 5000 mAh battery. The device comes with an upgraded design, a lighter body and an improved photography experience. The Spark 9 series will have three devices, the 9 Pro, 9T(64GB) and 9T(128GB).
It spots a right-angled edge and the 8.42mm lightly slim body which TECNO says makes it pocket friendly. The Spark 9 Pro comes with a 1080P FHD+ 6.6” Ultra HD screen and a 90Hz high refresh rate. This upgrade is expected to make scrolling smoother and touch feedback more sensitive. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 Chip Engine which comes with an Arm Mali-G52 GPU.
TECNO Spark 9 Pro will be available in Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White and Hacker Storm colors.
No pricing and availability date has been announced but we believe it will be under $180 and will launch before July. It is expected to become available in African markets such as Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Senegal, and Liberia before rolling out globally.

The new S98 rugged phone was announced last month by DOOGEE. The company will launch the dual-screen rugged phone on March 28th on AliExpress and Doogemall (the company’s official shopping platform).
Doogee S98 sports a unique dual-screen design. The display on the back is round like the one on the Huawei P50 pocket but comes with a bezel to complete the smartwatch look. The 1.1-inch display allows great freedom of customization to achieve a more personalized style. For e.g, you can set a special picture as the background picture and use colors in the picture to customize a theme for the display. It is convenient for music control, checking the time, battery levels, and notifications without having to flip the phone over.
