The Microsoft event for startups is themed “Opening tomorrow’s door for today’s startups“. Microsoft’s Head Start programme will help tech startups by giving them access to a variety of skills development resources, coaches and mentors, Microsoft’s customer network and the platform on which to build their products and services.

According to Microsoft, the event will see startups exposed to it’s: Technology, Business development and Compliance, regulation and legal doors.
Technology: Microsoft’s experts and architects will help tech startups to build the right solutions. Business development: experts will help the startups grow their customer base by introducing them to Microsoft’s extensive worldwide network of enterprises, governments, and startups from around the world. Compliance, regulation and legal: will see Microsoft’s legal and corporate affairs team on standby to assist startups where needed.
Selected startups will learn topics such as Taking your business to the clouds. Building low cost, scalable applications on Azure, Doing ethical business, Market Acquisition for Startups and more.

Visual Studio 2019 general availability is 2nd April 2019. Microsoft is hosting a virtual launch event with global local meetups.

Visual Studio 2019 will become generally available on 2nd April 2019 and Microsoft is hosting a virtual launch event. The event will stream live with local launch meetups across the globe between April 2nd and June 30th. A virtual attendee party called #CodeParty will also take place after the launch event with prizes up for grabs.
Microsoft’s launch event invitation reads:

Microsoft has announced dates for its premier event for developers. Build 2019 event will take place May 6th to 8th at the Washington State Convention center, Seattle Washington. Microsoft will open registration starting tomorrow 27th February 2019.
With an invitation that reads “Come experience the latest technologies and imagine new ways to create solutions“. The developer focused event highlights new tools and technologies the software giants are developing. As well as changes and improvements coming in softwares. Developers also get to connect their various communities, get hands on and deep dive trainings. Consumers will get an overview or the roadmap Microsoft has for most of its tools.

I believe as usual the conference fee will be about $2500. Microsoft opens Build 2019 event up with a call for speakers submission, a move which is new.

The Azure Student Dev Day is a learning event to skill up in Microsoft’s Technologies
Microsoft’s Azure Student Dev Days are free interactive workshops hosted by Microsoft student partners for students. It brings the Microsoft Tech community, Microsoft MVPs and experts to the developer day event to skill students in Microsoft technologies. Are you passionate about or want to learn more about Microsoft tech? This is a must attend event.
The event is designed to engage stdents in Azure developer services and latest industry trends. Through sessions and hands-on labs.
