3 impressive Ways AI is Improving Customer Loyalty

As technology continues to rapidly develop, the idea of artificial intelligence (AI) taking over human roles and being present in everyday life is becoming a reality. Today, AI programs such as Midjourney and DALL-E are capable of creating hyper-realistic images and complex works of art in a matter of seconds. Meanwhile, Open AI’s ChatGPT started making headlines in March 2023 for its impressive ability to craft well-written essays, solve mathematical problems, code, and engage in conversations with users. As tech magnate Bill Gates said, humanity has entered the AI age.

Numerous industries—from not-for-profit organizations to e-commerce and gaming—already are looking for ways to integrate AI into their operations. While some fear that AI will replace human labor and creativity, others are tapping into the technology’s potential to improve how businesses interact with their customers.

In what follows, we break down three remarkable ways in which artificial intelligence is facilitating customer loyalty.

Data collection

One of the main strengths of AI is its ability to collect and organize high volumes of user-generated data. This type of data is incredibly valuable for any business, as it reveals a lot about the customer, including website interactions, purchase history, and social media engagement. In isolation, that data may not mean much. However, once analyzed by AI, it can be streamlined and converted into digestible insights and visual charts.

Taking that data into consideration, marketers can make informed decisions that drive marketing strategies, targeted and market-entry campaigns, product launches, and more.

Personalized recommendations and offers

By using collected data and specialized algorithms, AI can assist in delivering customized experiences and interest-based content to individual customers, which makes them feel as if the brand understands their preferences and tastes.

Perhaps one of the most notorious examples is content recommendations on streaming platforms. On its Help Center site, Netflix clearly states that they “estimate the likelihood that you will watch a particular title in our catalog based on a number of factors”. Such factors include the user’s viewing history and rating of previous titles coupled with the information provided by other members with similar tastes and information about the titles (genre, actors, release year, etc).

Another industry that utilizes this strategy is gaming, particularly casino platforms. Overall, reputable casino sites focus on building customer loyalty by offering a number of benefits to players, including deposit bonuses, free spins, and VIP programs. But, with AI, they can go a step further and tailor their messaging and content to each individual player.

24/7 support availability and quick responses

Customer service is a detrimental factor in customer loyalty. In fact, 83% of customers agree that good customer support will turn them from one-time shoppers into lifers.

With the help of chatbot technology, businesses can provide their customers with automated customer service that is available around the clock. Medium to large-scale businesses and brands likely have customers all over the world. This means that human customer support agents won’t be always able to address urgent requests and issues from customers residing in different time zones. In this way, AI-powered chatbots are a convenient solution.

Using AI assistants is also a great way to ensure that customers get quick responses to simple queries whenever customer support agents are too busy solving more complex cases.

To conclude

Artificial intelligence has the potential to change the way businesses interact with their customers, giving them a more personalized and meaningful experience. This helps to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty, ultimately increasing the business’ overall success.

Just as the industrial revolution changed how people worked, the AI revolution is altering how people communicate with businesses.

Here are simple ways to fix Windows 11 problems

Here are simple ways to fix Windows 11 problems

Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft, but it comes with its own set of issues and bugs. Whether you are having trouble installing Windows 11, experiencing slow performance, or encountering errors and crashes, there are some solutions you can try to fix common Windows 11 problems. In this blog post, we will cover some of the most frequent Windows 11 issues and how to fix them.

How to fix Windows 11 installation problems

One of the main hurdles to upgrading to Windows 11 is meeting the system requirements, which include a compatible processor, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and enough disk space and memory. If your PC does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to install Windows 11 through Windows Update or the Installation Assistant.

To check if your PC is eligible for Windows 11, you can use the PC Health Check app from Microsoft or a third-party tool like WhyNotWin11. If your PC is not compatible, you may need to upgrade some hardware components or buy a new device that supports Windows 11.

If your PC meets the requirements but you still encounter errors or failures during the installation process, you can try some of these steps:

  • Run the Windows Update troubleshooter to fix any issues with the update service.
  • Disable or uninstall any antivirus or security software that may interfere with the installation.
  • Disconnect any external devices or peripherals that are not essential for the installation.
  • Clear some disk space by deleting temporary files, uninstalling unused apps, or moving files to an external drive.
  • Download and run the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB drive or DVD and install Windows 11 from there.

How to fix Windows 11 performance problems

If your PC is running slow or lagging after upgrading to Windows 11, there are some ways to improve its performance and speed up your system.

  • Check for updates and install any available patches that may fix bugs or optimize performance.
  • Adjust your power plan settings to balance performance and battery life.
  • Disable unnecessary startup programs that may slow down your boot time and consume resources.
  • Use Task Manager to monitor your CPU, memory, disk, and network usage and close any apps or processes that are hogging resources.
  • Run Disk Cleanup or Storage Sense to free up disk space and remove junk files.
  • Defragment your hard drive or optimize your SSD to improve data access and speed.
  • Update your drivers and firmware to ensure compatibility and stability with Windows 11.

How to fix Windows 11 error codes and crashes

Windows 11 may sometimes display error codes or crash unexpectedly due to various reasons, such as corrupted system files, hardware issues, driver conflicts, or software incompatibility. Depending on the type and severity of the error, you may need to take different actions to fix it.

Some of the common error codes and crashes on Windows 11 are:

  • Error code 0xC1900101: This indicates a driver problem that prevents Windows 11 from installing or updating. To fix it, you can try updating or rolling back your drivers, uninstalling any third-party antivirus or security software, disconnecting any external devices, or using the Media Creation Tool to install Windows 11.
  • Error code 0x80070070: This means that you do not have enough disk space to install or update Windows 11. To fix it, you can try clearing some disk space by deleting temporary files, uninstalling unused apps, or moving files to an external drive.
  • Error code 0x80070002 0x20009: This suggests that there is a problem with the boot configuration data (BCD) that prevents Windows 11 from installing or updating. To fix it, you can try rebuilding the BCD using the Command Prompt in the Advanced Startup Options menu.
  • Blue Screen of Death (BSOD): This is a serious system crash that causes Windows 11 to stop working and display a blue screen with an error message. To fix it, you can try booting into Safe Mode and performing a system restore, updating or uninstalling faulty drivers, scanning for malware, checking for hardware problems, or resetting your PC.

How to fix other common Windows 11 problems

Besides the above issues, there are some other common problems that users may face on Windows 11, such as:

  • Wi-Fi not working: If you cannot connect to Wi-Fi on Windows 11, you can try resetting your network settings or updating your Wi-Fi drivers.
  • Slowness: Restart your computer. This will allow it time to have all active programs close which gives space for new ones to be opened without any disruptions in performance.
  • Upgrade issues: You may come across commonly known issues during and after the upgrade, such as installation errors, compatibility issues, or driver issues. To fix these issues, you can try updating your drivers or running the Windows Update troubleshooter.
  • Blue screen of death (BSOD): This is a critical error that can occur when there is a problem with your hardware or software. To fix this issue, you can try updating your drivers or running the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool.
  • App compatibility issues: Some apps may not be compatible with Windows 11. To fix this issue, you can try running the app in compatibility mode or updating the app.

Meet the Microsoft ADC Game of Learners Season 4 Winner: Jambo Care

Meet the Microsoft ADC Game of Learners Season 4 Winner: Jambo Care

An innovation by four university students that translates the local dialect into English or Kiswahili to make it easier for doctors to diagnose patients’ symptoms remotely has emerged as the overall winner of the fourth season of the Game of Learners (GOL) competition. The solution, dubbed ‘Jambo Care,’ was developed by Team Ruby, which beat 16 other teams from universities across Africa to win the season on Friday. This season’s challenge aimed to develop technological solutions for Africa’s health challenges and featured more than 80 students from 11 African countries, with an equal balance of men and women.

This season, the Microsoft African Development Centre (ADC) partnered with Population Services International (PSI) and AMREF Health Africa in a five-week hackathon to design and build technology solutions that make primary healthcare more accessible to people. This was informed by the fact that African healthcare systems face several challenges, including inadequate health infrastructure, a shortage of healthcare personnel, limited access to essential medicines, low health literacy, and poor health-seeking behaviour. This makes it difficult for individuals and communities to receive high-quality care. Increasing access to affordable digital technology provides an opportunity to address these challenges.

Jambo Care aims to bridge the communication gap whereby the healthcare provider and the recipient don’t have a common language of communication. This will ensure effective healthcare delivery. As part of the next steps, PSI will provide some students with internship opportunities to progress their knowledge in digital health. At the same time, AMREF Health will offer 3-months of technical support to the best two teams to advance their innovations.

Speaking at the Season Finale, Ruth Ferland, the Regional Head of Student & Community Engagements at Microsoft ADC, said: “As part of this year’s competition, we challenged participants to delve into the healthcare sector, identify a unique challenge, and design a tech-based solution. Through the competition, we can obtain what we hope will be a creative solution to one of our long-standing healthcare challenges and assist them in learning more about technology and how to use it for good.”

A big decision: switching from Playstation to Xbox

A big decision: switching from Playstation to Xbox

Hey gamers, welcome back to my blog where I share my thoughts and opinions on everything related to gaming. Today I want to talk about a big decision I made recently: switching from Playstation to Xbox. Yes, you read that right. I know some of you might be shocked or even angry, but hear me out. I have some good reasons for making this change and I want to share them with you.

First of all, let me say that I have nothing against Playstation. I have been a loyal fan of Sony’s consoles since the PS1 era and I have enjoyed many great games and experiences on them. I still have my PS4 and PS5 and I will continue to play them from time to time. But lately, I have been feeling more drawn to Xbox and what it has to offer.

switching from Playstation to Xbox features include Game Pass, xCloud

One of the main reasons is Game Pass. This is a subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of games for a monthly fee. You can download and play any game you want from a huge library that includes new releases, classics, indie gems, and even some exclusive titles. You can also stream games to your PC or mobile device with xCloud. This is a game-changer for me because it saves me a lot of money and time. Instead of buying games at full price or waiting for sales, I can just play whatever I want whenever I want. And if I don’t like a game, I can just delete it and try something else. No regrets, no hassle.

Another reason is the backward compatibility. Xbox supports playing games from previous generations of consoles, including the original Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. This means you can enjoy your old favorites or discover new ones without having to switch consoles or buy remasters. You can also benefit from improved graphics, performance, and features on newer hardware. For example, some games support FPS Boost, which increases the frame rate up to 120 fps, or Auto HDR, which adds high dynamic range lighting to older games. This makes playing old games feel fresh and new.

Xbox One

The third reason is the controller. I know this might sound trivial, but the controller is very important for me as a gamer. It’s the main way I interact with the games and it affects my comfort and enjoyment. And I have to say that I prefer the Xbox controller over the Playstation one. It feels more ergonomic and natural in my hands, the triggers are more responsive and adaptive, the thumbsticks are more precise and durable, and the battery life is longer. Plus, I like the design and color options better.

These are just some of the reasons why I switched from Playstation to Xbox. Of course, there are other factors that might influence your choice, such as exclusive games, online services, community, etc. But for me personally, Xbox offers more value, variety, and quality than Playstation right now. And that’s why I made the switch.

What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with me? Have you ever switched consoles or are you loyal to one brand? Let me know in the comments below. And don’t forget to like and subscribe for more gaming content. Thanks for reading and happy gaming!
