The announcement comes ahead of Microsoft Inspire 2022 where Microsoft will celebrate exemplary achievements from across its global partner ecosystem. The 2022 Microsoft Inspire partner event is set to take place July 19-20 as a free global digital event.
Microsoft uses the partner award to recognize outstanding partner accomplishments within its community. Highlighting organizations building new and innovative solutions for their customers using Microsoft technologies. This year, the company received over three thousand nine hundred entries from one hundred and twenty-six countries. Across categories including, partner competencies, cloud-to-edge technologies, entrepreneurial spirit and social impact.

Microsoft celebrates its excelling local partners in South Africa at its annual partner award event. The award event is set aside each year to recognize the contributions of the Microsoft partner community. The community that enables and empowers Microsoft customers and organizations in South Africa to do more. The event wasn’t short of the usual partner excitement even though it took place virtually this year.
Microsoft South Africa awarded partners in 18 categories. Among the many winners on the night, Gijima Holdings (Pty) Ltd took home the 2021 Managing Director Partner of the Year award. Mint Group won awards in three categories, the most by any Microsoft partner. Mint also got the most partner nominations in six categories. Followed by BUI with awards in two categories and four nominations.

Ahead of Microsoft Inspire 2020, the company has announced its 2020 Partner of the Year Award Winners. We bring you a list of Africa partner winning organizations building new and innovative solutions for their customers.
Microsoft uses the partner award to recognize outstanding partner accomplishments within its community.
This year, the company received over three thousand entries from one hundred countries. There were in all one hundred and forty-six award winners across various categories.
Ghana recorded an award winner for the first time this year. Senegal for the second year in a row failed to register an award winner. Côte d’Ivoire also failed to register an award winner this year.

Accenture South Africa wins the prestigious managing director’s partner of the year award. Awarded during the Microsoft South Africa partner awards for fy19.
Each year Microsoft recognizes the contributions of its partner community that enable and empower Microsoft’s customers do more. Through providing, designing and implementing innovative customer solutions using Microsoft technologies and solutions.
Microsoft South Africa Commercial Partners Lead, Lionel Moyal, addressed over a hundred partners who were in attendance. Sharing that the awards recognizes innovative and forward thinking partners. He iterated that “as we move towards the fourth industrial revolution it is important that we[Microsoft and Partners] work together, sell together and win together.”
MD Partner of the Year – Accenture
Speaking about Accenture’s success this year, Lionel says Accenture South Africa changed its entire business strategy. From consulting to working with us[Microsoft] to envisage what is possible for customers.
Apart from Accenture, there were other award winners on the night. Top winners include BUI winning four awards on the night. While Altron Karabina and Mint Group winning three awards each.

Microsoft announces Partner of the Year Award Winners and finalists ahead of its annual partner conference, Inspire. Microsoft Inspire 2019 is set to take place July 14-18 in Las Vegas. The award showcases Microsoft partner organization building innovative solutions for their customers leveraging Microsoft technologies. We bring you the Middle East winners in this post.
