Tecnotree announces the launch of a digital multi-experience platform, Tecnotree Moments, in collaboration with MTN Nigeria. Tecnotree Moments is a gateway of digital services and lifestyle bundling products. It will launch with e-sports content such as PUBG Mobile Daily, FIFA Daily, Rocket League Daily, Fortnite Monthly, and Fantasy Football. Moments will also contain the complete Nigerian JSSCE, SSSCE, and IGCSE syllabus in the form of interactive and immersive content and live classes.

Through a pre-integrated digital partner ecosystem for global, local and glocal high-demand and hyper-growth sectors. The platform will attract leading partners across different sectors such as education, entertainment, gaming, sports, health, and wellness to enter Nigeria and use direct customer billing to convert ecosystem partners into instant revenue generators.

It will offer Africa’s top-played games, with fresh games being updated regularly. With dynamic ecosystem partners, the platform is uniquely positioned to cater for the convergence in education and gaming content around the globe that fosters social and emotional learning, imperative for personalized and adaptive experiences.

The MTN-Moments partnership will look at providing Massive Online Open Curriculum (MOOC) for career development and progression. Facilitating the acquisition of soft and technical skills. The platform will be launched first in Nigeria, with plans to launch these services to other MTN OpCos in Africa.

Twenty technology ambassadors have graduated from the second cohort of the Microsoft Teacher Internship Program in the United Arab Emirates. The program organized in partnership with the UAE education ministry encourages the use of technology in the learning and teaching process. Enabling teachers to become technology ambassadors of tomorrow. Then empower the students to create the world of tomorrow.

Alef Education, Microsoft partner to redefine the classroom experience

EdTech company Alef Education, is collaborating with Microsoft to drive a better learning and classroom experience in the gulf region.

The companies signed a MoU that will see Alef integrate its learning platform with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams. As well as have its platform run on the middle east Microsoft Azure datacenter.

Microsoft says the partnership sets out a framework for collaboration and the implementation of product and services. Both companies will work on a roadmap for development, case studies and training programs. To support Alef Education’s innovative digital learning program regionally and to scale the solutions globally.

Sayed Hashish, Microsoft UAE General Manager signed the MoU on behalf of Microsoft. He said in preparing the young for the new global digital economy, teachers will need the latest tools to bring the classroom to life.

Our work with Alef Education will allow their platform to empower educators to achieve more through the intelligent cloud. Students will be equipped with skill to go out into the world to be innovators, job creators and economy builders.

The collaboration will focus on empowering students, teachers and school leaders. To experience a seamless interaction between the Alef platform and Microsoft product and services, Microsoft says.

Our strategic partnership with Microsoft will provide our learners and teachers with leading edge technology. Alef Education CEO Geoffrey Alphonso, shared.

He also added;

with an established technology giant like Microsoft, we feel that this is just the beginning to providing complementary technology tools and hardware that will unify and enhance the user experience for our learner ecosystem. Microsoft and United Arab Emirates Education Ministry reach an agreement to upskill its workforce in AI and Data Science.

Microsoft and the United Arab Emirates Education Ministry have reached an agreement. The agreement will see Microsoft support the education ministry in its vision to upskill its workforce. The UAE’s ministry has a strategic objective to develop the skills of its employees in the latest technological trends. Microsoft will achieve this through the Microsoft Learning Partners Program.

Microsoft says “under the terms of the agreement, Microsoft will support the ministry in its vision for upskilling its workforce in line with the latest technological trends through its Microsoft Learning Partners Program. The Ministry engineers will undergo various training tracks selected from the areas of data science, artificial intelligence, big data and others.”

Speaking about the partnership His Excellency Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi said;

As part of its strategic objectives, the Ministry is working continuously to develop the skills of its employees in line with the latest global trends related to IT, AI and Cybersecurity. The focal areas related to the future and the associated skills must be mastered.”

Presenting various Microsoft solutions with customer testimonials to leaders at the event. Microsoft introduced the mordern class room interaction using Office 365, Azure cloud serice for research, Microsoft Hacking STEM and Minecraft for education.

Microsoft also delivered content and industry insights at the workshop sessions. Sharing on Leveraging future-ready skills and eploayability solutions for student sucess and Future of work.

Microsoft hosted a 2 day education partner summit in Nairobi at the Villa Rosa kempinski hotel. The event brought together over a hundred Microsoft education partners, educators and from across the country.
