Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the next update to Microsoft’s Windows 10 OS will be available 17th October.

Microsoft will be rolling out the fourth update to Windows 10 with the Fall Creators Update on 17th October 2017. The update is feature rich than the previously rolled out Creators update in April this year. Microsoft Windows and Devices Group Chief Terry Myerson says “We are coming up on our fourth major update to Windows 10, and our mission with these updates is to create a platform that inspires your creativity”.

We learn’t from Build this year some features coming in the Fall creators Update. These include; better Windows Inking capabilities, a new outlook and feel of the OS with Microsoft fluent design system. Story re-mix app. Changes coming in the video and photo’s app. Windows Mixed Reality and the availability of a variety of headsets that will also start shipping on October 17th. 

If you are signed up for the Windows Insider preview program, then chances are you’ve been using these features for a while.
